We are pleased to invite you to our side event, "Developing a framework for repairing harm: views from islanders and Afro-descendant women and youth," during the Bonn Climate Conference 2024 (SB60).
With the increasing climate crisis impacting a broad spectrum of human rights, surmounted by climate action failure, the entitlement to effective remedies under international human rights law becomes more pertinent. This interactive side event will explore avenues for redress and discuss strategies that reflect the needs and insights of those most affected by historical injustices. It is an opportunity to contribute to a movement that recognizes past wrongs and actively seeks to mend the continuing impacts.
