What does it mean to do community-oriented environmental and climate justice work? What does meaningful community engagement look like? In this presentation, Dr. Liv Yoon will share preliminary findings from, as well as reflections on her experience, in two different community-oriented climate justice research: 1) heat mapping in Northern Manhattan and the South Bronx; and 2) exploring what 'Just Transition' looks like on the ground-level in Tonawanda, NY.
